ABOUT THE SERIES

There is something deeply intimate about encountering another person’s body for the first time. Both parties begin as strangers, gradually learning to see one another, forming a unique and evolving relationship. This journey allows you to attune to their rhythm, to sense their raw energy and expression, noticing every subtle mannerism, detail, and movement. Over the past year, my vision in one eye has progressively deteriorated. This project embraces the way my impaired eye perceives the world. As my vision continues to change, I explore how I can still capture and feel a person’s energy through experiments with light, composition, and time. These works reflect my journey and the profound connection between photographer and subject. They are part of an ongoing series.
